Understaffed. Almost missed my flight. The line never moved, so I had to just leave my keys and I guess I'll hope for the best. You need more staff here. Overall a bad experience
This is my weekly rental. I like the staff here.
I always use Hertz and will continue to do so; however, the car we used on our trip to Vermont had an overpowering perfume smell in it. I suspect something had happened with the prior rental and a perfumed smell masking agent was overused. The seats were stained which may be some indication of the problem. When we would leave the car to walk around, we would leave the windows cracked a bit. When we approached the car upon our return, we could smell it a few cars away. The smell also permeated our clothing after sitting in the car awhile. I would recommend the seats be replaced altogether. It was a Mazda 5 Sport with Texas plates - BPY 0065. We were in a hurry to get to Woodstock from Burlington or we would have refused the car and gotten another. This is the first time something like has happened to us with Hertz. Again, we will remain loyal Hertz customers but thought you should know about this.
Just got ripped off at this location. They charged me 42 dollars for being 17 min late (as per their time stamps). The copy I have of their terms and conditions states that charges apply after 29 minutes. I showed this to the lady and her answer was 'I don't know what that is' (!!!) when I explained her answer was that the computer calculates the charges (!!!!). I am waiting for the manager whi conveniently is not here. Unbelievable.
