Four weeks ago today I was promised an estimate for a new propane heating system. The service rep, Jeff, said I would have it the following Monday or Tuesday. Well, I am still waiting for the estimate. This delay tells me Benoure isn't too interested in my business. It also makes me wonder how good their service would be. End result, I will not use Benoure nor will I recommend them to other people.
Was freezing cold heater out late on a Saturday night.... Took care of me .. Highly recommend to all my friends.. updating my review, one of the Owners you to know me as Jed back in high school, used his company ever sense.... still calls me my old Nickname after all these years. Glad to see your company is successful say hello to the Hermit for me ... but most of all thanks for the quality service!
I work in residential and commerial installations and we would never treat paying customers like this if they called with questions. Ive met a few Benoures guys on commercial sites and they seem like good dudes but their customer service sucks, especially when I was an actual previous customer! Its clear their years in the community keeps repeat business but I'll never go back or recommend.
I love Benoure Plumbing and Heating...I've been doing business with them for over 20 years and they have always been great to work with. Their employees are always friendly and professional. I've used them for both commercial and residential projects and they've always done excellent work.
What a bunch of scammers! My hot water tank failed so I called Benoure and told the receptionist the problem and they sent a technician to check it out the next day. He confirmed that it needed replacement, and that he'd email me an estimate, which he did the following day. However, the estimate was just a blanket price for labor and parts and didn't tell me what they were charging for either, so I asked for an itemized estimate which detailed the cost of the tank, labor, etc. 3 days later and after 2 more emails I finally got it, and just as I suspected, these scammers were trying to charge me almost double the retail price of the tank! Double, as in one could buy the task themselves at home Depot for 1600 and they wanted to charge me 2900 for the tank.plus parts and labor.
I responded that I'd prefer to just buy the tank myself but that the price on labor and other parts seemed fine and would like to schedule the install....never heard back. I guess if they can't scam you they don't want your business. I've got a house hold with 5 kids and we've had no hot water for 10 days as these scumbags wasted a week trying to scam me.
Spent 5000 dollars with these guys on a natural gas furnace and installation. They did a serviceable job but their customer service is terrible. I called the other day because my furnace wasnt turning on and just wanted to talk to someone to troubleshoot. The girl that answered the phone sounded annoyed, put me on hold, and then took my number to have someone call me back. No one called me back and I needed my furnace up and running due to slightly cooler temps and a 3 day old baby in the house. Businesses would have a much easier time if they had knowledgeable people answering the phone. I ended up calling Melody Electric because the problem seemed to be with the GFI on the furnace and I got a friendly voice who actually wanted to help and actually knew something. Turned out the GFI had gone faulty and was a quick fix but no thanks to Benoure's.
