I had LASIK (blade-free) done a little over a year back and I couldn't be happier with the results. I ended up with 20/15 vision and no side effects whatsoever. The entire process was incredibly easy from start to finish. The entire staff do an excellent job at explaining the entire process before and during the operation. They took numerous preliminary tests to ensure the measurements were spot on, and the operation itself probably took less than 10 minutes. The recovery time is quite negligible so long as you follow the prescribed eye drop procedure.
Dr. Larson goes above and beyond, she's passionate about what she does, is proactive and thorough with her approach, and treats her patients with the care they need. The same can be said about her staff and how they run the practice. I had LASIK done almost 2 months ago, experienced some unforeseen complications, and Dr. Larson was right there personally handling my situation and continues to check in regularly with my followup care to ensure the best possible outcome. My eyesight is now beyond 20/20 and I couldn't be happier. Thank You!!
I had LASIK on both eyes about 4 years ago. The staff was friendly and made me feel relaxed about the process. They had a massage therapist on site on the day of surgery. The procedure took about 10 minutes total and they give you a stuffed animal to hold on to if you are nervous. :-) I walked out of the office able to see each leaf on the trees for the first time, and my vision is still perfect. I would recommend them to everyone. This was truly a life-changing experience and one of the best decisions I have ever made.
The value for this investment is absolutely worth it in my opinion. I'm an avid skier and hiker, and the difference in trail navigation is night and day. You'll often find yourself stopping more than often to witness the incredible details that are now crystal clear around you. Worrying about bringing glasses to a cinema or reading a distant sign have become a distant memory. I want to sincerely thank Juli Larson and the excellent staff at Vermont Eye Laser for being incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process, and impacting my life in such a positive way!
The office was very clean and it had a coziness feeling. The process was quick, just depended on how long you want to wait to have the surgery. If there was any complications the staff were there to answer those questions or get you back into the office!
