Great place. The guys are all very nice and friendly and really seem to know what they're doing. The prices are extremely reasonable and I've never felt ripped off or pressured like I did when I was still taking my car to the dealer for work. Also they leave you a maple candy in the car when you pick it up!

(Customer in late September)

Very unimpressed with the service I received from New England Automotive, I brought in my car because the check engine light was on and the car had stalled out while driving. I was told by a gentleman by the name of Dominic that it appeared to be an alternator problems. So I paid close to $450 for a them to put in a "refurbished" alternator. Once the repair was done and paid for I go to pick up the car and the check engine light is still on and not only that but the car dies on me 100 ft out of thier driveway. So I immediately bring the vehicle back in for another diagnosis which Dominic insisted I would have to pay another $39 for. Reluctantly I said yes as I didn't want to take home a broken car and still be out almost $450. A few days later I receive a call from Dominic saying one of my sensors needs to be replaced and it would be a $350 replacement *( refurbished parts). I call other shops in the area to compare prices and find out New England is charging me almost double for a lower quality ( technically used) part. I confront Dominic about the matter and he apologizes and tells me he made a mistake and that the price would only be 180 for the sensor. So I pay for it trusting that this would be the end of my problems. As I'm paying my final bills I'm also told that my car has an $800 exhaust leak and that the car basically needed a whole new catalytic converter. Before I picked up the car I spoke to a different gentleman who seemed a lot more sympathetic and genuine although I did not get his name are really explain in detail to him what had happened as I came right at closing. He did wave the extra $39 diagnosis fee for me although that was the littles of my problems. Unfortunately I do not plan on coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed as I have received decent work at a very fair price from new england auto in the past.

Fixed my truck in a timely manner. They stated everything they were going to charge me for before they did the work and didnt charge me anymore after completion. They also recommended me to another mechanic that knew more about my vehicle and that mechanic turned out to be solid.

I've taken my car here twice (tire swap, inspection/oil change) and they are the best. They go out of their way to make sure you're getting what you need and Dom has always taken the time to explain exactly what needs to be fixed and how much it's going to cost. 11/10 would go again.

Had my truck undercoated at New England Automotive and had a very positive customer service experience. I cannot yet speak to the longevity of the undercoating. But my interaction with them was very positive.
